Fouillard Furniture History

Eugene Fouillard (Sr.) founded a business in 1944 that would later be passed down through three generations.

Eugene’s business began as an implement, farming and furniture business which was operated by himself and three of his sons, Eugene (Jr.), Leo and Art.  Eventually, the business was divided in two, allowing for specialization in each area. The implement and farming portion was run by Art and Leo and the furniture segment was run by Eugene (Jr.). Eugene (Jr.) began managing the furniture business in 1957 and moved into a new 10,000 square feet building in 1965. Eugene (Jr.) ran the business until his passing in 1990 when his son Martin bought the business. Since 1990 Martin has expanded to include another 6,000 square feet of showroom space increasing Fouillard Furniture’s ability to compete with major retailers. Presently Martin and Joyce Fouillard operate a 16,000 square foot building attracting customers from a 100 mile radius.
